Dr Peter Jensen, General Secretary of the Global Anglican Future Conference, writes:
It is no accident that Gafcon’s 2018 conference is taking place in Jerusalem. It is, of course, the birthplace of the Gafcon movement a decade ago. But the real reason is that it is the place where our Lord died and was raised from the dead.
The conference is a major undertaking and we ask for your prayers as the time rapidly approaches. We long that the conference theme to ‘Proclaim Christ Faithfully to the Nations’ might be fulfilled and that uncompromised, eternal truth would be reclaimed.
To help, we’ve prepared ‘Fuel for Prayer’ [read below – or click Fullscreen Mode ] which shows that already there is much for which we can be grateful. As well, it highlights specific items of petition for the conference and the movement as a whole.
Again, let me ask you to join me in prayer, especially for the people who will gather in Jerusalem. We all pray that they will go out – like the apostles – to share with others the truth deeply planted in their hearts.
May God bless you!
